QUESTION FOR ALL SUPPORTERS (ON F.R.) WHO SUPPORT THIS DPW DEAL:
How would you have reacted had this deal been proposed during a "Kerry Administration"?

the same. we understand economics and engagement of the trouble spots, not wishing them away.

If I had been a "supporter" I could give you an answer but like I said before my objections stem from congress promising a 45 day review then reneging and a dishonorable attempt to attach an amendment to our troops money all for political posturing. All my feeling would have been the same under a Kerry Administration, DON'T MESS WITH TROOPS MONEY OR EVEN ATTEMPT! I was leaning for support because no one demonstrated a real security concern based on facts but I was willing to wait the 45 days to see if something really jumped up. 7 days just didn't cut it for me when the promise was for 45 days.

The deal was not "proposed" by the Bush Administration. The terminals were put up for bid by P & O and no American company wants to deal with the Longshoremen, so DPW's bid was tops.
