If I had been a "supporter" I could give you an answer but like I said before my objections stem from congress promising a 45 day review then reneging and a dishonorable attempt to attach an amendment to our troops money all for political posturing. All my feeling would have been the same under a Kerry Administration, DON'T MESS WITH TROOPS MONEY OR EVEN ATTEMPT! I was leaning for support because no one demonstrated a real security concern based on facts but I was willing to wait the 45 days to see if something really jumped up. 7 days just didn't cut it for me when the promise was for 45 days.

A reasonable position yours is.
As a person that opposes this deal, I must admit it is difficult watching the Dems lie and pander and Republicans being spineless once again.
These same Dems would scream bloody-murder if Customs even did a double-take at a guy getting on a plane that was dressed in full Arab regalia, a bulky mid-section and reading aloud from a Koran.
