I have never heard "Joisey" said here either. Some New Yorkers may pronounce it that way, but I have not heard it in this state as of yet. Maybe it's a Jersey City thing? I don't know.

Some New Yorkers may pronounce it that way That's what I was thinking. It sounds like the exaggerated East End Kids city accents from years ago. I don't even think NYers talk like that anymore.
