New York Times About To Reveal Even More Top Secret Operational Data! Big Benefit To Terrorists
Sources in New York and drudge ^ | MB26

Breaking – Proven reliable sources tell me that in tomorrow morning's edition of the NYT, the leftist paper will reveal that DOD has embedded military rapid reaction teams at a number of US embassies abroad.

The Times is again giving our enemies hard intel they need to be more effective on the worldwide terrorism battlefield.

The concept was very simple; When we got intel that known terrs were operating in a specific area, the US team already in place would be able to snatch them quickly. Because the team is already there, entry problems would be eliminated and reaction time would be much faster. Terrs know how long it takes to get a Delta/SEAL/Snakeeater team out of US or forward area bases and into operational areas, so they know how long they can stay in an area themselves.

Under the new "pre-placement" plan, the reaction time was reduced from days to minutes.

I don't have full details yet, but sources believe not all countries where "pre-placed" teams are located knew they were there. In fact, majority of countries probably did not know small teams of our troops were ready to operate on their ground. Is assumed there were there under civilian cover or perhaps listed as part of the USMC security detachment.

The idea was simple. The snatches would be quick and quiet. Terrs would be removed to other country, possibly Guantanimo, often using business jets borrowed from legitimate US companies, and no one would ever know how or why they disappeared.

Now, thanks to NYT, all is blown!

This stuff goes WAAAAAAAAAY beyond any reasonable interpretation of First Amendment "rights", and domestic enemies clearly need to be dealt with appropriately if we are to survive as a Nation.

repeat that - whole ball of wax

It's already up on the TIMES' own web site. Where do you think Drudge got it?

And slamming FR, makes you look like a troll. *sniff, sniff*

Nobody here would have mentioned it if it weren't about to hit the pages of a major newspaper (which it now already has). The NY Times wasn't going to not publish it based on this heads up about their intentions.

As I was reading the NYT, while naturally I think they are committing treasons for releasing this info, I liked what the US gov. is doing ( that we shouldn't be reading in the NYT):

"General Brown and the Special Operations Command now work according to a concept that has become the newest Pentagon catchphrase: "find, fix, finish and follow-up" — shorthand for locating terrorist leaders, tracking them precisely, capturing or killing them, and then using the information gathered to plan another operation.

I very much like this approach. :)

There's been more than fair warning that leakers and journalists would be prosecuted. Do it.

This is too funny. The NYT has a story expected to roll tomorrow, yet Right-leaning Drudge and a freeper report it first this evening, and everyone is ready to indict the Times for treason.

Don't you think the story has already been printed and is off the presses? It more than likely is already into the distribution channel for tomorrow am.

So sad so many conservatives have stayed away from the MSM.
If I had a tissue, I'd give it to you.

I wouldn't put much faith into FISA

I amazed no one has postulated, re FISA, if Bush just might have his suspicions about the outfit being leaky as a colander -

I have wondered if these judges aren't one of the sources - hitched at the hip with other traitors on the Hill.

This is demonstrably the Times and drudge playing the ratings, But to think that US SOLDIERS in American embassy's are just wallflowers is ridiculous. They are soldiers.

The other camp is expected to work for their Governments as well. It is foolish to think otherwise.

Re #96 -

"If the Times were on foreign soil, I think it would be long gone."

And yet while the NYC WTC Twin Towers are gone, the NY Slimes edifice is still standing.

What an injustice, eh?

is this not treason . There should be an official announcement that when the leak is found he will pay dearly. Times needs to be fully investigated. They are way beyond bounds.

I wish I was closer to the NY Slimes headquarters. I'd call for a major FReep and would be the first to lead the way.

This is news to the bad guys and if you play it off then you do not understand how these elements operate. The leaker of this is deliberately exposing classified info not coffee klatch gossip.

It is very damaging, and it has not been exposed until now.

Wake up you're attitude abets the treason committed.

for one thing, right off the top - the location and missions of our special ops should never be revealed - it endangers their lives and neutralizes their mission
