This morning on my way out the door to work, Fox and Friends had an UK intelligence officer or some specialist on. He is reading and listening to the Saddam tapes and reading the boxes of papers foiund. He said that there is tapes that tell where, when and how the WMD was moved, where exactly, and who helped (The Russians). But here's where I had to leave and really what I wanted a transcript of...he says that there are tapes of Saddam and UBL!!!!!!!!
Sorry for the vanity, but I tried the Fox site and can't find this mornings transcripts....can anyone give me an idea. Here's my question whjy isn't Bush on the roof of the Whitehouse with a bullhorn????

I'm pretty sure I've seen some articles that spell Osama's name with a "U", and have seen him referred to as UBL or OBL because of it.
Saw it. He was one of the speakers at the Intelligence Summit a few weeks ago. I believe he's referring to the tapes that Bill Tierney had translated. Those tapes were the tip of the tape/document iceberg, but not sure if he was referring to any new translations.

Saddam Hussein Had Secret Uranium Enrichment

In the year 2000, two years after Iraq expelled U.N. arms inspectors, two Iraqi
scientists paid a discreet visit to Saddam Hussein in his presidential palace.
They had come to brief the Iraqi dictator on their progress in enriching uranium
using plasma separation. If successful, their efforts could have given Saddam
the fissile material he was seeking to make a bomb.
"You can tell that one of the scientists is nervous on the tape," former FBI
translator Bill Tierney told NewsMax. "He is telling Saddam of all these
wonderful things they can do with the plasma process, which they initially
developed in the 1980s for the nuclear weapons program.
The scientist tried to convince Saddam to change course and use the technology
for purely peaceful purpose, but the Iraqi dictator just listened politely. "You
can imagine him nodding his head as you listen to the tape," Tierney said.
Tierney believes the tapes will vindicate the pre-war analysis of Iraqi WMD
programs. "If anything, after translating 12 hours of these tapes, I believe the
U.S. intelligence analysis didn't go far enough," he told NewsMax.
Tierney worked with U.N. arms inspectors in Iraq in the late 1990s, and
experienced Iraq's "cheat and retreat" efforts first hand. He will release the
original Arabic tapes and English language translations Saturday at the
Intelligence Summit, a privately-funded conference in Arlington, Va. As
non-U.S.-origin materials, they are not classified.
The plasma enrichment program was so well-protected by the Iraqi regime that
U.N. arms inspectors had never discovered it. "This not only shows the
capabilities the Iraqis had, but also the weakness of international arms
inspection," Tierney believes. "Arms inspection regimes just don't work."
The plasma process got a brief mention in the 2004 final report of CIA arms
inspector Charles Duelfer, but only as a legacy program the Iraqis had abandoned
in the late 1980s.
I wish Freepers could get on this and do a blitz like they did on the BlagtherRather case, the ScarryKerry lies, etc.
The MSM and the libs are doing everything they can to keep this from seeing the light of day - after all, it proves what they really know but don't want anyone else too. How could they keep up the mantra "Bush Lied/lied/lied/lied. Impeach! Vote us in!"?
They are banking their return to power on this mantra.
They are pulling out all the stops to bury this.
Fox lets a blip through now and then, but there' no mention anywhere else - let's keep drumming on more important things, like old pre-Katrina tapes, hunting accidents that have not a thing to do with us or our security, etc.
We need to drown Fox/Rush/Drudge/newspapers/senators/reps - every outlet - with letters, emails...this must not be allowed to sink out of sight. This is the one thing that would turn everything around - maybe not only show the WMS were there and where they went - but that it has been known all along and who buried it and why. There would be some rats scurrying for holes...
It would also be interesting for folk to realize the very possible connection to this and Rockeeeefellar's visit, pre-war- to the area, particularly to Syria.
Remember, Saddam was strutting around like a rooster, confident that the US would not attack - just make a gesture, ala Clintonn lobbing a missile for show and then forgetting it.
SAddam's partners in the illegal money for oil deals, FRance/Russia/Germany assured him that they could keep him safe from attack by controlling the UN. But Rockeeeeeee went to Syria (no business, not his job) and told (warned? Leaked classifed secruity information?) the Syrian president, who also did not think Bush would attack, that oh, yes, Bush was definitely going to attack.
Is that not when the deal was struck to spirit the WMDs out of Dodge, thru' Syria, to wait for another day? Freepers - FREEP

I've been complaining about this since the day the summit ended. no coverage. every attempt I made on other sites I was confronted with accusations that Tierney was looney based on some radio interview he gave about God telling him where some weapons were. Im about certain that this information was sent that morning to every leftist with the talking points for the day. Each and every one of them repeated the same story verbatim. Saturday of the summit, cnn ran a series of updates on it in which they gave a different translation than Tierney and proclaimed no smoking gun, etc. The tapes should not have been released to the media prior to the end of the summit. I've been madder than a wet hen ever since!!!! You're absolutely right, should this become headline news that debunks the leftists Bush Lied mantra, their impeachment jihad is down the toilet. But one of the first things the left is quick to point out is, if what Tierney interprets is true, WHY isn't "Bushco" jumping all over it? I figure it is true and Bush would love to jump all over it, but at the moment, and I may be wrong, he's got to be focused on the bigger picture which includes Russia on IRAN and making accusations about Russia on IRAQ, is going to have to wait? If the WH isn't willing at this time to vindicate itself with this information, could that be the reason why the media, on the whole, hasn't either? You brought up SkarryKerry, which reminded me that he posted on his website documentation that so obviously pointed to a 'less than honorable'. It seemed to me like no matter how loud we hollered, jumped up and down, and made a fuss over it, it was empty without the WH, who continued to say kind things about Kerry's service. It's like the elephant sitting in the middle of the living room and NO one is acknowledging it. Makes me crazy!! I was very actively involved in helping "anti Kerry" groups and am willing to participate in any FReep of this cause. Just advise.
