I think Barry Bonds should be banned for life and his records should be removed from the books. Cheats have no place in competitive sports.

The REAL deal that Bonds, Mark and Sammy will never be able to pass without cheating:

Bonds will hit his 8 homers, then twist an ankle and retire.

If ever a baseball players physical stature and Home Run statistics correspondingly changed so drastically it is Barry Bonds.
At least with Mark McGuire, who as a rookie hit 49 home runs and was a HUGE physical specimen, you can argue he had the power to begin with, and the fact that over HIS CAREER his home run to AT BAT ratio is right there with the BABE, you know he was always a Home Run hitter.
However with Barry Bonds there is NO SUCH normality. His prodigious home run hitting in the LATTER stage of his career is quite definitively a product of steroid enhancement.

"Cheats have no place in competitive sports."Nothing of what Bonds was taking at the time was illegal. Please tell me I am wrong.
What I am saying is IF it was legal at the time, no problem. It it was illegal, I agree, throw the bumb out. Pretty simple.

No question that he should be banned. Fans should protest ever time he goes to the plate to hit. How could anyone POSSIBLY root for him to break any more records? Oooops, I forgot--we're talking San Francisco sports fans here. Never mind.
He is a total disgrace and an embarrassment to any and all baseball fans. If he had an ounce of pride--he would retire. He is an arrogant, shameless cheater.

I am surprised the Bonds-bots arent out in full force defending this human fraud and cheat of the century, or two centuries. What a disgrace to the whole game? McGwire also. Sickening.

You may be right. 5n addition to being a big cheater, he also showed his racist side when he stated that he only cared about surpassing Babe Ruth and not Hank Aaron.
To: indcons
Bonds should never pass neither Ruth nor Aaron. What a fraud.

If major league baseball lets Bonds play at all this year, it will make a total mockery of their so-called efforts to stop drug use!
If they let him play, how can major league baseball even say with a 'straight-face' that they have a serious anti-drug policy? How can the SF Giants even allow him to wear their uniform? I can't even believe that the Giants are going to allow their uniform to be disgraced any more than it already has by Bonds.

Breaks the heart.
The records are adulterated, but whatever method is used to remove steroid-inflated records will done after the fact-- Without the benefit of whatever 'policy' baseball shows it can run effectively to punish 'juicers'

The man's head grew two full sizes during one season. Which exercise makes your head grow?
The point is not whether or not the steroids and growth hormones he was taking were legal. The point is it hurts the integrity of the game. If one player starts juicing himself up and dominating, other players are going to have to do the same thing just to compete.
