Man Jumps Off Airplane At Metro Airport

A man is in custody after jumping out of the emergency exit of a Northwest airplane at Detroit Metropolitan Airport Tuesday.
Officials say the man was being deported on an immigration violation. The plane was still on the runway, at gate A34, when the man jumped off.
The man is currently being treated for injuries.

He wasn't considered a risk so there was not an escort. The 2 Feds who put him on the plane watched from the terminal. Plane was a 747. Must be a good 20ft. drop.
