Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld says members of the Iranian military have been slipping into Iraq to make trouble.
Rumsfeld says there's been steady, detectable traffic of members of the military across the Iranian border to destablize Iraq. He says "I doubt they're religious pilgrims" and he believes the activity is taking place with the blessing of the Tehran government.
Rumsfeld says, "I doubt members of the Revolutionary Guard move around willy-nilly."
Rumsfeld did issue this warning -- he says Iranian meddling in Iraqi affairs "is something they will look back on as being an error in judgment."

should I expect us from blocking border incursions from Iran into Iraq, when we cant keep our own borders secure???
How many posts till someone screams "Bush Close the Borders Now!"
LOL! Can't type fast enough to beat the whiners!
Ya gotta be quick around here.
Our economy would go into the dumpers if they closed the borders. You just don't get it. A cheap supply of labor to do things that US citizens won't do.
"BUSHBORG" n. Opposite of a Bushbot. Collectively oppose anything Bush. Argument is futile.

The Iraqis have been saying this for quite some time now.
As Muslims they believe they are superior to the eighty percent of the world who are infidels. Miscalculation and arrogance, as was demonstrated by Saddam Hussein, seems to be part of the Islamic Psyche.
"There's no fighting in 'The War Room!'"
The strange thing is they make such wonderful cameras....
Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Tick-tock-tick-tockticktockticktock!
i wish there were 15 more bombs in that picture.

And exactly what jobs are those? I have personally helped harvest fields of corn, potatos, beans, and tomatoes. I have done janitorial duties as well as stocked shelves. I have done carpentry as well as concrete forms. Today, I am a software architect / CTO (don't get me started on H1Bs). Exactly what type of labor are Americans too lazy to do?
Thing is, when I hear these statements, I realize that its not that Americans won't do the work... it's that the person making the statement wouldn't want to do the work. There is a big difference.
In the end, this position is supported by elitists looking to further their own position by elevating themselves above the 'great unwashed.'
Next thing we'll start hearing is how farmers are like buggy-whips....
