I'll never forget his home run in Game 6 of the 1991 World Series (IMO the greatest WS ever played) and Jack Buck only needing to say "we'll see you tomorrow night".

The crowd kept watching the replay on the big screen making sure it went over the wall each time.
I'll never forget it either, though I was rooting for the other team.
May he rest in peace and may God look after his family in this time of need.
For no reason I can understand I loved his name. It just sounded like a great baseball name to me.
