BAA Indianapolis LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of BAA plc, a private company which owns and operates seven airports in the United Kingdom including Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports serving London.
Indianapolis International is now the largest privately managed airport in the United States.
I assume BAA is from the UK, but the article doesn't say.

BAA is a British company.
They also run Heathrow, Gatwick and 5 other British airports.

You may be right...looks like a UK-based company.
If it is a UK-based company, I can't understand what the fuss is about. Looks like Matt Drudge is flogging a dead horse on this one.

In 1995 BAA USA won a ten year contract to manage Indianapolis Airport. Since 1 October 1995, BAA Indianapolis LLC has had full operating responsibility for the six airports owned by the Indianapolis Airport Authority under a unique, performance-based, management contract. Indianapolis International is now the largest privately managed airport in the United States. This contract includes the management and operations of all aspects of the airport including fire and police, housekeeping, parking, retail, food & beverage concessions, airport information, environment, expansion planning and other services. 1995... that was Clinton correct?

Matt's good at beating dead horses. Of course, I doubt the dims will jump on this, unless they can see a way to beat up Bush over it.
