Amen, and again I say, Amen.
This has torn my heart since reading it yesterday.
We just spent a GLORIOUS week and a half, with our Army National Guard nephew doing nothing...NOTHING...because we needed nothing...
because we had him...returned to us, and whole, after a year in Iraq. It was more than enough to be in the same room and watch him breath. Words were simply inadaquate during that state of Grace suspended in God's time that we were given- the opportunity to simply gaze upon his face, much less wrap our arms around him were indeed moments overflowing with humility.
Praise God for this warrior, his family, and their greatest gift. May the peace of God which passeth all understanding be with them all now, and forever. Amen.
Thank God your Son is home safe, I can imagine the relief you feel especially when hearing of one of our Heroes getting killed.
