• The presence of in only three categories and technical ones at that.
• The blacklisting of Sin City.
• The failure to nominate Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith in 'Best Visual Effects' Whatever you say about that flick and Lucas's behavior, it did merit a nomination in that category.
• Paradise Now.
• Nominating a rap song about 'pimping.'
• John Stewart.
• The nauseating smugness that will radiate from the TV if I DID watch it!

I'm amazed that the network that can no longer afford to show the Green Bay Packers ( Monday Night Football ) in prime time has the money to air a show honoring fudge packers.
