I suppose on this thread it goes without saying, but I'll say in anyway...BOYCOTT THE OSCARS tonight.

I want the ratings for this year's program go into the toilet (where most the nominated movies belong). I won't waste my money to see the films, my electricity to watch the Oscars, or my time watching to witness Hollywood's self-adulation fest.

Clooney's remark about the Academy and Hattie McDaniel's Oscar need to be seen in a different light. Hollywood has not been all that receptive to African-Americans over the years.
