I suppose on this thread it goes without saying, but I'll say in anyway...BOYCOTT THE OSCARS tonight.
I want the ratings for this year's program go into the toilet (where most the nominated movies belong). I won't waste my money to see the films, my electricity to watch the Oscars, or my time watching to witness Hollywood's self-adulation fest.
Pass it on...
That's what a normal woman looks like. Your perspective's all skewed cuz you've been watching anorexics all night.
RAH RAH RAH!
No.
I think it's still in some theatres here (SoCal), but may also come back to more theatres now that Reese won.
I tuned in after watching Flava Flav's reality TV show. He's picking a new biatch, doncha know.
LOL
The Sons and Daughters ad used the awesome Cheap Trick song "Surrender"
Very bohemian upbringing... google his name sometime.
Hanks kicks ass.
Damn.
LOL, I vaguely remember that. (now)
If you don't know who McMurtry is, you need to read more. He's written some truly good stuff.
Good guy Hanks, friend of WWII vets. He really looks good!
Floyd has just come back from buying groceries and now Barney has hatched a plan to escape by slow dancing with one of the female cons!
Flava Flav is on? And I'm missing it!?
DANG!
If it ain't Crash, it's trash.
Damn...brokebutt best director
BBM wins...puke
Way to go, Pat Summit's Vols.
This is the same Academy that believed that "Dances with Wolves" and "Forrest Gump" were better films than "Goodfellas" and "Pulp Fiction".
Oscar loves it's sentimental crap.
McMurtry was born June 3, 1936 in Wichita Falls, Texasand grew up on a ranch outside of Archer City, Texas. He earned degrees from North Texas State University (B.A. 1958) and Rice University (M.A. 1960).
Ang Lee, best director. Puke.
