"Our ongoing investigation indicates that the suspect's motive was to avenge the deaths of Muslims around the world," said Derek Parch, UNC-Chapel Hill's Director of Public Safety at a news conference Saturday afternoon. "There is every indication in this early stage of the investigation that he acted alone. There is no indication whatsoever that he acted in concert with anyone." Taheri-azar, currently at Raleigh's Central Prison under a $5.5 million bond, was charged with nine counts of attempted first-degree murder and nine counts of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill.

Which university was it that the guy strapped on a bomb and blew himself up in the parking lot?
Jihad is Jihad is Jihad!
Does the wording of this statement look vaguely familiar to you?
Oklahoma?
Ah yes, the ROJ ("Religion of Jihad") at it again.
OU at Norman Oklahoma. They're still refusing to call it what it was--an attempted terror attack on over 80,000 people in the stadium at the time.
That's right. Thanks.
So as not to cause panic we won't use the " T " word, instead it's religious revenge.
It's now being called. 'Regelious Revenge' Not terrorism. That's the word they're using for it.
In other words.. do not put 1+1 together and come up with 2.
I don't know if this article has any new information in it, or merely new ways to excuse what is clearly a terrorist acting against Americans.
The new way of defining terrorism seems to be that others have to be involved and there have to be mass casualties.
I've been looking for info on a power plant explosion in WV. I saw a blurb on Fox at 10:30 - 11:00 pm last night. The blurb was an interview with a sheriff. His comment was, "We are in a recovery process" The Fox News anchor asked, "Does that mean people are dead?" The Sheriff said, "I cannot confirm at this time." I haven't seen anything more of this story since, nor have I found an article here. I don't think I imagined it, but maybe I did.
---"Regardless of what his intentions prove to be, we wholeheartedly deplore this action, and trust that our fellow classmates will be able to dissociate the actions of this one disturbed individual from the beliefs of the Muslim community as a whole," a statement on the Web site said.
Other local Muslim associations also condemn the actions, including the Raleigh Islamic Center, which released a statement Saturday saying it was "deeply troubled by this individual's actions."---
Troubling...diplospeak! :^)
I can't find the words terror, terrorist, or terrorism anywhere in the article.
Methinks his al-queda tuition ran out and he was upset about having to get a real job. All that hard work and no jihad opportunities awaiting him!
Put them there? Geez..........
From the Charlotte paper:
In His Apartment
UNC Chapel Hill police say Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar told them he drove into a crowd of students on campus because he wanted to avenge the deaths of Muslims. Officers searched his apartment Friday night and Saturday morning.
Several books and documents remained in Taheri-azar's bedroom Saturday afternoon, including:
"Democracy Matters: Winning the Fight Against Imperialism" by Cornel West.
"Endgame: The Blueprint for Victory in the War on Terror" by retired generals and Fox news analysts Thomas McInerney and Paul Vallely.
A paperback copy of the Quran.
A "Questionnaire for National Security Positions."
U.S. Army pamphlets.
A scrapbook with pictures of racing cars.

I suspect he could have learned to fly while he was there.
Personally, I wish they'd fry him.
"...by Cornel West..." Yes, the left is such an inspiration to these mischievous Islamic lads.
As I said in another post.. I think his al-queda tuition funding ran out... thus his dream to fly planes into buildings ended. The other story mentioned he had to take a job at a bar serving liquor to infidels.
