I don't think it's too late for Bush to rail on the media. I don't know what's his problem though. It is frustrating.

Bush has the Bully Pulpit. He should've learned how to use it to his advantage and instead of pissing it away. Reagan knew how to use the Bully Pulpit. When Reagan couldn't get satisfaction, he went over the media's head and made direct appeals to the American people. It worked ever time. You're right. I hate to say the following, but Bush just seldom makes a decent speech. He loses a lot of Americans because of it. Reagan was the king of communication. Especially of late, G.W. has sounded feeble and unsure of himself when he speaks. It's very alarming. I feel sorry for him. It really seems like a real (public speaking) disorder of some sort.
