If she was drunk then she couldn't consent.

But if the guy is drunk...and the girl is drunk...why is it up to the guy to make that decision? I'm talking about real life....Do you really think a young man should be literally put in jail because he didn't realize the woman who was willingly opening her legs didn't really know what she was doing? Give me a break.

Logic test for your statement:

Would he likewise not be responsible for his behavior since he was also drunk?

Would she have not been responsible if she ran over a person while driving drunk?

Sorry; but she made a really stupid decision but just because she made a stupid decision while drunk does not mean she couldn't consent.

I don't know all the facts of the case and I haven't (and DO NOT WANT TO) seen the video but they article said "she was participating."

Maybe we should teach our daughters to respect themselves and not get so polluted to the point where they will do things that they will regret later.

Don't get me wrong; I do sympathize with her.

This is something that I've long wondered about...

If a woman is drunk, then she's not able to consent to have sex, i.e. she is NOT responsible for her actions.

When a man is drunk, why is it that he's responsible for his actions when having sex? Is he able to consent? Actually, I've seen this sort of scenario... When I was in college, a buddy of mine has being stalked by this crazy girl, who he wanted nothing to do with. Well, at a party one night, he was stone drunk. I'm not kidding... He actually fell down a flight of stairs, and didn't know where the bruises on his back came from the next day. Well, this girl cornered him, and they wound up having sex. I don't know if she was drunk or not. Was he able to consent to sex with her, since he was drunk? Should he have been held responsible? Of course, had she come back with a rape charge, there would have been a roomful of people stating that he tried repeatedly to get away from her, to the point of shouting "LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!" But he eventually gave in. Hmmmm.... I wonder if he could have charged HER with rape...

If the girl was so drunk that she lost responsibility of her behaviour, that's also applicable to the boys, right?. I guess they were drunk too. Looks to me it was that kind of party, where everybody knew they were going to drink and have sex. Why did she go?. As for the part of child pornography, did she know it was being videotaped?. uh oh...I think everybody is guilty there. Everybody.
