Last night on FOX (Hannity & Colmes) Dick Morris listed a whole series of speaking engagements and emoluments (including 3/4 of a million for the Clinton library) that Bubba received for his support of the UAE. Morris said that legally he should be required to register as a lobbyist and spokesman for a foreign government. I tried to locate the transcript of his commentary but it wasn't available. In any case, it involved a whole series of actions and statements which -- in the aggregate -- clearly indicated Clinton was in the tank for Dubai. But why shouldn't he be forgiven? Just as he forgave Mark Rich and others by selling them pardons?

Hillary Clinton, a leading opponent of DP World's takeover of some US port operations, was this week forced to admit that she did not know her husband had advised Dubai leaders on how to handle the growing dispute. This wouldn't surprise me. I don't think there is a lot of communication in that marriage.
