Avery was freed for 3 years and pursuing his wrongful imprisonment lawsuit, when he raped, stabbed, shot and burned his victim. Either his first or most recent depending on your take on the earlier "wrongful conviction. The nephew stumbled onto the earlier stages of the crime and then partook every part of the way. Police had Avery nailed with DNA but didn't have the circumstances nailed down until the nephew cracked this week under follow up questioning.

The Milwaukee Journal ran the following photo of Avery, his parents and nephew at their cabin several days after Halbach was killed in their home on their shared property. Chilling.

Wow. What a chilling photo, now that we know what happened to Teresa. Psychopaths can look so darn normal, can't they?
