In your opinion. You are woefully inadequate to debate these matters in mine.

And you don't have a proverbial clue. You should stay in Illinois. It suits you.

The only thing that made U.S. Grant a "great" General, is the fact that he was willing to butcher as many men as it took to acomplish his goal. He couldn't hold a candle to Lee or Jackson.

My response to such a charge is that it is typical from those wedded to a ancient tyranny desparate to avoid the modern world. Fortunately such an attitude facing a technologically advanced society led by one of history's outstanding statesmen meant inevitable defeat.

Of course, such a "charge" has been shown to be a LIE in any case like virtually every "fact" the DSs marshall to support their pathetic defense of Treason.

I would not compare Jackson to the Nazis but to Rommel. He fought for an evil regime too though not a Nazi himself.

I was just making that up.

However, you cannot put too much stoke in old punctuations and grammar. Congress is also spoken of as a plural.

There were signatures ONLY for representatives of the United States of America. The negoitiators negoitated for the Nation not the states. If each state was fully sovereign then there would have been negoitators for each state along with separate signatory lines for them indentifying them as representing ONLY one state not an entire nation.

Just off the top of my head I can identify MANY major Northern writers and painters prior to the war: Melville, Hawthorne, Irving, Longfellow, Webster, Emerson, Cooper, Thoreau, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Frederick Douglas, Whittier, Emily Dickenson, Whitman, Gilbert Stuart, Copley, Revere, Charles Wilson Peale, West, Trumbull, Cole, Samuel Morse, Frederick Edwin Church, Childe Hassam, Asher Durand, Albert Bierstadt, Catlin, Inness.

From the South only Poe reaches first rank. Bryant is worthy of mention and Jefferson was a fine architect.

The rest is darkness.

And the North was even more technically advanced.

General Lee would never support that foolish claim. Sounds like the Liberals complaining about President Bush's "stupidity" as he kicks their asses once again.

You DSs should give me a prize for allowing you to trumpet your stupidities.
