From the first report on his move to Sumter, where he said he had about 4 month's provisions, to the report he made to Fox, where he said he could hold out for only two more weeks, Anderson made his supply crisis plain. Lincoln's choice was clear, allow Anderson to be starved into surrender or to send him supplies. He chose the later and the south chose war. And suffered the consequences.

The only reason some of the Traitors were not tried was because the People were sick of the War and the weakened president following the Great Abraham (Beloved by ALL Patriots) could not find the resolve to do it.
