I am all for free speech, BUT teaching a HS class is not a platform for airing your political beliefs. This guy should be fired, there is not place in our schools for teachers ranting about the pres being hitler or socialist etc. Teach the subject and talk politics after school.
Our seventh grader was listening to the recording of this nutso teacher, and she said, "Sounds just like . . . and . . . . They say stuff every day like that." Hubby says it is illegal for students in our school system to record teachers without permission of the school. I'm not sure though.
