Yes...I was thinking the same thing....I can't because I sometimes am driving home during his show..so, I would love to be able to come home and read the thread...

BUT, since I am driving home sometimes...I couldn't commit to starting the thread either...

Sooo...we do need to find someone who is available at 6:00EST every evening..

Maybe if no one offers on THIS thread tonight...we can ask around on the talk radio threads tomorrow.

Yes his term of "journalistic fraud" was right on target.

I was on a thread on Saturday while Tony was on TV during his show...

And he posted an answer to me, while he was on TV...so he is monitoring all the time...LOL

I could just see Brit looking down at the computer and having the Free Republic page be on it...that would be great!

Do you notice the MSM always has something in the bag to bring out when the President is on an important trip?

Are you sure about this? Clay Shaw is from Florida (my district) and this doen't sound like the kind of legislation he would support. On the other hand, he's in a tough reelection race this cycle so anything's possible....

"... (they didn't request help until too late, but somehow that's Bush's fault, too)."

This is such a key element.

I remember hearing about somebody commenting that the President had called the Gov and the Mayor several times and ask them what they wanted to do .. and they didn't know what to do. That's why there were busses ruined .. busses which could have saved people's lives.

I also remember hearing somebody talking about people complaining to the Mayor that "their" people would not ride in no "school bus" - they wanted an air conditioned bus. That arrogance cost many of those people their lives.

There's no way this is BUSH's FAULT!

And .. once again .. these idiots wait until the President is on a foreign trip and begin their assault against him. They are SO over .. is correct.

Bill Sammon also wrote Fighting Back about how Bush handled 9/11 and its aftermath. It's very good on the scene in the classroom when Bush first learned about the planes hitting the World Trade Center (quite different from the version commonly reported in the MSM) and continues past Hillary's brandishing the headline "Bush Knew" on the floor of the Senate on May 16, 2002. Excellent book, available in paperback (Regnery).

I was surprised...but they showed him and were also talking about Duncan Hunter saying that he would do anything it takes to stop the Dubai deal...

The way the story was framed, it was the surpise of having these Republicans taking a more isolationist view...and why.

I am sorry, I got interrupted and didn't see the whole segment...I just remember thinking that somewhere, Pat Buchanan is jumping for joy.

To add to the despicable exploitation of this tragedy....Barney Frank accused the federal government of ethnic cleansing of New Orleans because it will be too expensive for poor people to move back to NO

Clay Shaw, a Republican from Texas is planning on putting in a bill to get rid of all foreign investment in America....

Speaking of that and India, it is against the law for a foreign owned company to operate in India. Indians must be at least 51% share holders. Hmmm.

The only thing I have found so far by Mr. Shaw is a bill, HR 4839 which says: To prohibit entities owned or controlled by foreign governments form conducting certain operations at seaports in the United States and prohibit entry into agreements to conduct such operations.

This was filled yesterday....so it is possible that he filed another bill today, that hasn't been posted yet.
