My gosh. Wow. Student RA's have Constitutional rights. Like speech, religion, assembly. What a radical concept. It only took a threatened lawsuit, I guess, to get to this point...
So does this mean that under the newly revised policy, RAs would no longer be explicitly responsible for leading, and pressuring students to participate in the political/cultural indoctrination programs that are a standard feature of undergraduate colleges these days? You know, the ones where students are told "facts" like how 4 out of 5 women will be sexually assaulted in their lifetime?
FYI. Good news.
"Annie Laurie Gaylor, co-president of the Freedom from Religion Foundation, a Madison-based organization, said she was 'sorry to hear about [the proposed policy].'"
This woman is a socialist SLACKER who has never held a real job in her life! Her Mom founded "Freedom FROM Religion" and she's worked as an "activist" since her college days.
Anyhow, glad to hear the kid won his case. :)
