03/02/06 FOX Poll: Most Oppose Port Deal; Republicans Lose Ground Thursday, March 02, 2006 By Dana Blanton PHOTOS
Most Americans oppose allowing a Dubai company to run some U.S. ports, even as a majority understands the U.S. would continue to control port security, according to a new FOX News poll. One in four sees the United Arab Emirates as a strong ally, but most either disagree or are unsure.
In addition, the poll shows Republicans have lost ground on the issue of terrorism, and by a wide margin voters now think it would be better for the country if Democrats win control of Congress in this years midterm election.
For only the second time of his presidency, the poll finds that President Bushs overall job approval rating has fallen below 40 percent today 39 percent of Americans say they approve and a 54 percent majority disapproves. Late last year the presidents approval hit a record-low of 36 percent (8-9 November 2005).

You're in denial. Look them up. You don't want to know the truth. You have too much energy invested in this to turn back now. Saving face is more important to y'all than facing the facts.
You've cobbled together so much damned tinfoil, that this should take a while, but I'll wait...........................
It's not a company. It's a "govt" of elite shieks.
Technically, it's a company. At least as much as the ChiCom businesses who run similar operations in the Port of LA and the like.
But even so -- do you have any evidence to connect one of the "elite shieks" who run this company to terrorist activities?
"Facts"???
I've been publicly asking for one single 'fact' that would hold up in a court of law.
To no avail, I might point out.
One fact connecting one person running this company to illegal or terrorist activity. Just one.
I'm honestly curious, questioning.
If I have anything to say about it, that won't happen. I'm a hard worker, and frankly I'm irritated at the lameass Republican incumbents playing politics with the port. The facts are Dubai is an ally, the people bitching are bitching over thoughts and images--not hard facts, and the election is eight months away...a LIFETIME in politics.
Bush hasn't ever stuck his finger in the air to find which way he should move, and he shouldn't start now.
BTW, MikeA, thanks for revealing the internals on that poll--43% Democrat, eh? Bush certainly could appeal to his "base" more to bring those numbers up, but I think when the voters HONESTLY stand in the booth they aren't going to punch a chad for a 'rat; they're wusses on national security--BIG TIME.
Bush's modus operandi, from what I've seen, is to let the LameStream Media and 'rats (and sometimes panicked, pitiful Republicans) run and run and run and run until they're out of steam, then he steps in and clears the air...and he rebounds.
So let's let 'em scream and moan--the they'll eventually tire out, and the truth will finally get some air.
I suspect your tax money will have to pay them to break the lease.
Who do you suggest run these ports, once you've thrown DPW over the side?
Yep ignorant as a rotten stump. Credit there socialist public school education. I learned how ports worked in the sixth grade in 1952. One of my businesses was importing containers. They don't have the slightest clue.
A tinfoiler. An honest-to-goodness kook.
Thanks for revealing yourself.

Dubai-although densely-populated-is not exactly a teeming, unmanageable metropolis, a la Karachi.
When the ISI makes an excuse for why they can't locate a top-ranking Al Qaeda figure in a city like Islamabad or Karachi it at least has some plausible deniability.
On the other hand, I don't see how a undemocratic monarchy-the size of a postage stamp-with an extensive internal security apparatus can not be held responsible for the transshipment of illicit narcotics, nuclear contraband, sub-Saharan slaves, and Eastern European prostitutes, in addition to wire transfers from Islamic terrorists.
When Pakistani officials say they don't know where Dawood Ibrahim is it might very well be a lie, but it is a somewhat believable lie.
On the other hand, how do you explain Dawood Ibrahim's ability to operate his terrorist criminal syndicate-with relative impunity-out of Dubai for so many years?
I've been waiting for some one to bring that up.
Israeli Company Mum About WTC Pullout
WTC investigators should follow the money trail. It could provide critical information about the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
Exclusive to American Free Press,
By Christopher Bollyn
WHILE an Israeli real estate magnate from Australia insured his 99-year lease on the retail space of the World Trade Center against terrorism, one of Israel's biggest companies pulled out of the north tower just days before Sept. 11.
AFP has learned from a reliable source in the shipping industry that Zim American Israeli Shipping Co., Inc. broke the lease when it vacated the rented offices on the 16th and 17th floors of the north tower of the World Trade Center shortly before the Sept. 11 disaster.
According to the source, Zim's WTC office space had been leased until the end of the year and the company lost $50,000 when it suddenly pulled out in the beginning of September.

I'm not your secretary. I already gave you the names. I did my own leg work, you do yours. That is if you want to know the truth.
What terrorist did they fund. I am aware that they helped us fund and fight the first Gulf war as allies. I am also aware that they sent millions to help with Hurricane Katrina. These the terrorist you talking about or do you have proof of some other transaction.
They have criminals . . . interesting.
Do you know of any evidence connecting this criminal terrorist syndicate with any level of control of this company?
Oh, and by, "Connection", I mean any credible evidence showing these people did this thing that endangered this port, or some such.
They didn't bid. If their managers didn't think it would work, who the hell are you to say otherwise?
