This sounds like intelligence gathering to me. I'm surprised the IDF permits it.

How disgusting is this?
Mrs. Ehud Olmert is a member of "Machsom Watch." The two sons of Ehud Olmert scampered to Europe in order to avoid serving in the IDF.
Alouette's son, although born in the U.S., volunteered for the IDF, and did checkpoint duty. So not only can I say that I KNOW but that ESTI TSAL IS A FREAKING LIAR.
FRmail me to be added or removed from this Judaic/pro-Israel/Russian Jewry ping list.
Warning! This is a high-volume ping list.

Hey Esti just install a non terrorist government, arrest/punish the fanatics, recognize Israel, negotiate a lasting peace and live happily ever after.

One needn't go very deep in this article to find enough catch-phrases to let you know where these folks are coming from.
Israeli government = bad / Palestinians = poor persecuted souls
Israel never has a cause to do anything. The Palestinian terrorists aren't bad people, their actions are always caused by mistreatment.
Israel has it's citizen turncoats and we have ours.

I just love that term, "occupied territories". I guess I live in an occupied house on occupied land. Maybe the Abenakis or the Algonquins consider it occupied. I even get some mail addressed to "Occupant" at times.

If she feels so badly for the other side what is stopping her from moving over there? Hell it isnt that far and I am sure they would greet her with open arms./

"...sounds like intelligence gathering to me. I'm surprised the IDF permits it."
It sure is gathering intelligence for the enemy. The reason why it is not stopped is because the Israeli government does not want to do anything to upset the "road to peace". Sadly, this road to peace is leading to the beginning of the end for Israel.

Cry me a river, Esti. The Pals, and no one but the Pals, got themselves into this situation by their own actions. If a certain percentage of IDF soldiers mess with them or treat them meanly because they can't stand these murderous people, it isn't right, but it is going to happen.
Many of the Pals would kill Esti and her family without a second thought and revel in it, but she is too stupid to realize it. She prefers to pick on the soldiers of her own country.

But nothing prepared me for the sight of 200 people standing in line at the border between Israeli Taibe and Palestinian Tul Karem, most of them young men, looking at the ground, patiently waiting for the soldier's finger to gesture and indicate they should step up, one-by-one
.No violence, no brute force. Just people standing in line, submissive, obedient, matter of fact.
Im sure everyone will agree, it looks awful.

Oops, sorry wrong picture. As youll see, it is awful, the line and all.

Oops again, lines, crowds

My mistake, finally, Ive got the picture from the Machsom Watch website. Horrors.

Finally, looks like a line at

Before the PA took over the "Occupied Lands" Israelis used to freely shop in the West Bank and Palestinians shopped in Israel. As a consequence, the West Bank and Gaza had some of the Middle East's highest standards of living. Because of Oslo, the Israelis had to allow thousands of trouble-makers (includ. that louse of a Yasser Arafat) back into the Territories and release hundreds more from prison. As a consequence, the Territories have become the classic situation that developes from a thugocracy--shop keepers close up because of shake-downs by gangs, capital flees, misery increases, and the Thugocrats use their bully pulpit to blame it all on the Jews. Anyone who tries to speak out against the tyranny of the Thugocrats or who objects to their shake-downs is branded an Israeli "collaborator" and dealt with in a most horrible manner. With shrinking hope for the future and a promise of $2500 or so for their families, is it any wonder the Thugs who run the WB and Gaza can recruit homicide bombers? That they can only recruit so few and that the many they do recruit are gullible probably speaks volumes about what the average joe who sells lamb sandwiches on the streets of Ramalah really thinks about the situation.
