Um, leftists started the current homeschooling trend back in the late 70's and early 80's. :-) Evangelical Christian pastors fought us tooth and nail until January 1990 when Michael Farris and HSLDA started selling homeschooling legal insurance. $$$

Look for Teach Your Own, by John Holt, or early copies of Growing Without Schooling which he edited, starting about 1978 or '79.

I don't worry because (a) it can't be worse than leftist public school curriculum already, and (b) they won't be teaching OUR kids, only their own.

especially considering those kids will probably not get a single useful tidbit of knowledge. But I guarantee they'll know how to march and protest, and learn to fill out a public assistance form - Lord knows they'll need that skill !!!

This actually is highly unlikely, for two reasons. First, leftwingers do not wish to sully themselves with actual effortful activity. They prefer to use your money to hire government thugs to do their work for them.

Second, leftwingers do not care about children, seldom even have any, and so would certainly not exert themselves in a sustained effort such as home schooling requires.
