Actually, I wonder about this.

Connie London, (the black woman in the above video shot outside the Astrodome), is the counterexample. The significant percentage of the Katrina diaspora refusing to return to New Orleans is the counterexample. (I believe the NO electorate will be majority white for the first time in decades.)

Miss hillary was addressing a sophisticated crowd sympathetic to the idea of vouchers, capitalism, faith-based initiiatives AND REPUBLICANS.

I think she understand that unless she keeps them on the plantation, she will lose them to the GOP and the Ds will go down the drain.

That's true and I often hear that more Blacks and non-white Hispanics are turning to the GOP but every time the election results are posted those rumors prove to be false.

A few counter examples do not a movement make.

Hillary Clinton is the viscious, raging, white bitch mistress standing on the plantation wagon ordering the slave masters to brand her property, burn all knowledge and independence out of existence, cut hands and feet off to keep the thoughts of runaways in line, and then whip the the very literal and figurative life from her slaves.

Connie London spit on Hillary and told her to get f'd.

People who are uninformed, might not be able to grasp that Hillary is indeed dangerous. Connie London expresses her disgust, and that's a darn good start.

I think the majority of NO should be rebuilt, but it shouldn't be done by the current crop of LA politicians. New Orleans is historical, and the city will always be home to those who left, probably never to come back, but it will always be home. These people know that they were not represented by the people they probably elected, ie: Nagin, Blanco, Landrieu, etc. Crooks frittered away government money instead of attempting to prevent damage that everyone knew was going to happen, sooner or later. NO has dodged so many deadly hurricanes, that the state should have been actively preparing for the inevitable. The residents know this. They may not talk about it publicly, but they know. Connie London has the courage to speak out.

Hillary once again plays the race card, but this is 2006. People want off the damn plantation already! This is something that conservative politicians need to address. They need to pound it into those that are still under the impression that people like Hillary have their best interests at heart. This is a golden opportunity to help our fellow Americans, and I hope we don't blow it.
