Ah, common ground. You’re a Prog-rock fan I bet.

Let me guess, Days of Future Passed is your favorite. That was a result of their label’s wanting a rock version of "New World Symphony", you know?

Actually, though "Days of Future Passed" is a great album, it is not my absolute favorite Moodies' work. I have heard about the rock version of "New World Symphony" that the label wanted, and am very glad the label didn't get its way! One of rock music's great songs is on that album. I do like their very early work, but I think "Seventh Sojourn" is my favorite. There is absolutely no weak link on that album.

I miss Ray Thomas. I wish I could find his solo albums on CD. He wasn't all that great of a flute player, but he wrote some wonderful songs and I loved hearing him sing them.

I am indeed a progressive rock fan. I really am planning on discovering some early Genesis, though I think the first couple of albums after Peter Gabriel left the group are very good.
