To: Lurking in Kansas
It's hard for me to be specific about modern music. I like progressive rock from the 60's and 70's, film scores, bluegrass, and too much more to be mentioned. I can talk about music for days with the right person.

One of my favorite groups from recent years is the Moody Blues. I like Alison Krauss and Union Station, and Nickel Creek as well.

There is a lot of good music out there. Unfortunately, you have to almost go looking to find good "new" music.

Ah, common ground. You’re a Prog-rock fan I bet.

Let me guess, Days of Future Passed is your favorite. That was a result of their label’s wanting a rock version of "New World Symphony", you know?
