I would never support killing homosexuals and have even supported bringing them into churches. However a homosexual Easter egg hunt is something I want no part of.

These lowlife scum should just be mowed down like terrorists, writes one good Christian.
Interesting example of providing no context for a quote.

And how did the writer of the news article determine that the author of this post was a good Christian?

Anyone have a link to the FR thread(s) in question?
The quotes sound to me like those opposed to the left's announced plan of STORMING the White House (see activism sidebar headlines).

These people have done much more damage to these kids than not going to some easter egg hunt is going to do.

The author has a point. Some of the posts I'ver read here regarding homosexuality are way over the top. Sometimes I wonder if I've wandered onto D.U. or MoveON. (not the opinions of the posters, but hate-filled language they use.)
Sometimes I think it's a matter of "the lady doth protest too much".

This article failed to mention the outrage of the previous thread was basically that gay parents didn't just want to take their kids , they wanted to use the event as a protest. IMO it's sick to use little kids to protest.

The Christian right blogosphere is afire, condemning the presence of gay parents on the White House lawn...
Deliberately misleading. If I recall correctly, the gays were specifically coming to demonstrate on the lawn, not just to be present.

any chance the homosexuals might hear about Christ on Easter?
To: Jim Robinson
In November, when the Family Pride Coalition, a D.C.-based gay rights advocacy group, invited its members to participate in one of the great traditions of our country the religious right sprang into action. The gay rights group invited its members to participate but who in the White House invited them? No one (this article makes it sound like they were).

Even then, don't knock. Not on this door. Not for ANY reason. Do you get me, sweetheart?" Melvin Udall, As Good As It Gets
In other words, whatever perversion you want to practice, with whomever, as long as they are old enough, and capable of saying yes, go ahead. BUT! I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR ABOUT IT, and it does not bless you with any special victimhood.
Is that bigotry?
