I disagree. I'd rather have a kid in a state-run orphanage (or better yet, in a religious orphanage) than in the home of a homosexual. The first is not an ideal situation. The second is child abuse.
State bureaucrats don't a damn about what happens to children, it's just a 9 to 5 job to them that they can push onto someone else.
Most homosexuals, like hetrosexuals, are not child molesters.
Do you care to now revise your above statement?

Perhaps more troublesome for the big picture, is the effect on the majority who DON'T get lost, since they'll grow up thinking it's normal for children to be raised by the state, and be very grateful to the state for at least feeding and housing them, since nobody else was offering to. Want to take a guess as to how these kids will vote as soon as they get old enough? Do you think they'll EVER vote to cut back government welfare programs?
I doubt it. And you make some good points in your statement.

Source? Just curious.
Pillow-biting != Pedophilia
And there's no way the number of children 'offended' by homos is > number of children abused by hetero parents.

"Good Luck. Remember, the Secret Service carries automatic weapons and has a delightfully unrestrained streak when dealing with White House gate grashers." Here is one of the orignal quotes. Now pop up and read what the Author misquotes. Seem the Author of this article is lying by omission at a number of points. Before you leap to conclusions you MIGHT want to actually ready the original posting. Someone I suspect the Author cherry picked the response to fit his own Propaganda agenda.

Does anyone else see the liberal bias involved in twisting and misquoting someone's word to make the wrong point. Hm. Well, I confess that I don't see much in the full quote to mitigate the comment -- it was and is out of line.

Of course, one may ask when FR became a blog. While many here revel in the news calling them such, FR is not a blog, and it just goes to show how out of touch the media is.

I'm sure there are also plenty of mothers who'll file fraudulent suits, alleging molestation that never happened, after coaching their sons to say it did. Between the risk of real molesters and the risk of fraudulent suits, that organization is faced with a tough challenge in screening applicants.
Personally, I think that our society should move away from the concept of people building careers around teaching schoolchildren, coaching children's sports, leading other children's activities, etc. The reality is that a disproportionate percentage of people who opt for such careers have pedophilic tendencies. Any normal adult is qualified to do those things, and especially as far as school teachers are concerned, it would be highly beneficial for children to be educated by adults who have significant experience in the adult world (I fondly recall a 6th grade math teacher I had, who was a retired Navy captain). And the growing epidemic of female school teachers committing statutory rape on their male students (in many cases barely adolescents) shows that gay men are far from the only problem.
When screening applicants for adoption, foster care, Big Brothers, teaching, coaching, or any other position that affords significant opportunity for molestation, screeners should be looking for adults with a track record of community service NOT involving children. The pervs generally have resumes where practically every entry has something to do with children. But unfortunately, in this culture where everybody's expected to be a certificated "expert" in some narrow field, such resumes don't raise red flags, since they're exactly the kind of resumes that normal people have been encouraged to develop, after majoring in things like "elementary education", "physical education", "child development", etc.
To: GeorgeW23225
According to FBI statistics, children are molested at a far higher rate by heterosexuals than gays You need to be careful with such statements. Did the FBI report rate relative to proportion of population? Or is it a simple "X% of molestations were by heterosexuals and Y% were by homosexuals?"
There's a fairly significant difference between the two statistical approaches.

Curious how the article does not point out that the Freepers were responding to a Gay Activist group attempt to organize an White House Easter Egg Hunt Gatecrashing. Since they were advocating a violent Protest action, it is extremely childish for them to whine when people return the rhetorical violence to them.
