Some of the relatives of people who killed themselves in Jonestown went on TV, and family member of the occasional gaming or music "related" suicide sometimes hit the talk show circuit to make life miserable for non-suicidal geeks. While I certainly agree the guy was attempting some sort of poorly thought out spin of the story that doesn't mean the feds had anything to do with it.
