This makes about as much sense as some county board in Utah voting to declare war on San Francisco.

Yeah, Rep John Conyers is trying to get the president impeached, too, but according to an article on thehill.com today, Conyers needs to start working on his own defense.
Tisk, tisk, Mr Conyers, haven't you heard the one about throwing stones?

Hilarious. Anybody who's ever watched a bunch of jumped up local politicians trying to make pi equal to 3 can get a kick out of this.

"activities the board sees as transgressions"
Whatever could they be talking about? Bans on gay marriage? Family values? Pro-life? Anti-terrorism?
Yup, no agendas here....

It's almost as if they don't have a city to run. Maybe their jobs are expendable.

Remember, it was one of these S.F. Supervisors who stated on Hannity and Combs that the US should have no military at all.

Can we pass a petition to have San Francisco secede from the Union? I would sign it.

Bans on gay marriage? Family values? Pro-life? Anti-terrorism?
If the Leadership of San Fransisco is so vehemently against All of the above...
...Maybe it wouldn't hurt to return the city to Mexico.

Look for the Cambridge MA City Council to do this soon as well. They hate being outdone by San Francisco.
