I agree he is mostly a moron. On the other hand, this is a Mardi Gras costume and not meant to be taken seriously. Trying to identify all the ribbons on a Mardi Gras outfit is silly.
Some of you should lighten up.

I can identify the Cowardice Under Fire Ribbon, the Shirking Responsibility Service Medal, the Racist Activity Award, and the STFU Medal.

I've never worn my uniforms as a Mardi Gras costume.
And I earned my ribbons.

National Defense Serice Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Bronze Star, Airmedl, Army Good Conduct Medal, Purple Heart, Army Comendation Medal. The rest are from other services or WWII.
This asshole should be ashamed of himself.

Young men and women are dying while wearing that "costume", and the ribbons he used to dress it up for effect are meant to honor their commitments and service.
He could have worn confederate grey and called himself Colonel Busrearguard Lee in the spirit of the day but wearing A current Army Uniform designed for service in Iraq is just plain wrong.

He was supposedly honoring the General who led the New Orleans evacuation. I suppose he somehow got a shirt with all of HIS (the generals) citations......

Nagin is a pos - people who risk their lives for this nation get those decorations. Military ribbons and stars should never be part of a politician's costume.

The quality of the picture is bad to start with. I tried to magnify it enough to make out what they are. You two seem to have about the same feeling. Those ribbons are a mix of several branches of service.
