The racketeering laws would be more correctly applied to the abortion providers.

And from the headline you can tell that Tony Locy, AP, sides with the pro-death crowd.

I see Breyer wrote the majority opinion. Did he cite the laws of Uzbekistan or Paraguay? Good decision though.

The Supreme Court dealt a setback Tuesday to abortion clinics Considering that this was over the use of anti-racketeering laws, it's interesting how the AP didn't call this a triumph for free expression, or at the very least a victory for the anti-abortion side. Not surprising, but interesting.

RICO laws bankrupt Randall Terry's organization.
Wonder if this will have any impact on that case.

I think the Court's in for a big change. I think Roberts wants the court to frequently speak with one voice instead of the multitude of decisions, concurrences and dissents that muddy the legal world and cause confusion. Like the Marshall Court, down the line there will be more unanimous or close to unanimous desisions. This will de-politicize the court, which has been our goal.

More major wins to come. Specter needs to retire and make room for the real Republicans, ones that value life.
