I left out a negative in the post you are addressing. What I meant to say is that one does not need divine revelation to make the reasonable speculation that mammals of every kind (whether marsupial or otherwise) could at one time have been dispersed into areas they are rarely, if ever found today.

I should add that flood activity could easily transport the remains of these creatures to places which today are inhabitable. The biblical text denoting a global flood, which would assist in sch dispersement, could easily cause one to predict fossil remains of all kinds of mammals at the poles. In fact I'm surprised more haven't been found.

So if we see fossils above 10000 feet, we can assume there's over 2 miles of water required to transport them. Where did the water go? Or are you going to contend that the Inyo Mountains we created in the last 6000 years?

You still have to deal with the sorting.

Indeed. There should be a whole morass of different species laid down wile nilly all over the globe with little stratification.
