You are in serious need of a spell checker... and a grammar checker.
"Ape" isn't a species. As you know.
As a matter of fact, dirt "evolved" from life.
Because it seems as if every time someone says "I'm not sure about evolution." it turns out that the individual is a "creationist."
Do you consider high school students educated enough to understand and critique Einstein's theory of relativity? Most of them don't even know the basics of calculus! In the same way, they really are too ignorant to critique the theory of evolution.
In other words, no answer to Vaquero's points
Actually, I was following up with another poster on a specific element of his belief, one that he raised. Is that OK with you?
P-Marlowe (hence the ping to him) specifically stated that we are created in the image of God, and I quote now "If you refuse to acknowledge that you were created in the image of God, then evolution is the theory for you. Have fun with it".
Sort of punches a gaping hole in your comment -- It seems to me that anytime someone says "I'm not sure about Evolution" the response becomes "Stop pushing Creationism on me! -- now doesn't it.
Should we talk more about "frequently-repeated error" now or after you get the taste of shoe leather out of your mouth :)
Is that a question? Whatever it is, it is an incomplete sentence.
Thank God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Perhaps you ought to read the posts of some of your comrades in this thread before you start throwing stones.
If you're interested in learning about evolution, visit The List-O-Links.
If you'd like to understand the concept of speciation, visit Micro-evolution, Macro-evolution, and Speciation.
If you're serious about debating this issue, see How to argue against a scientific theory.
If you're permanently stuck on stupid, but determined to post anyway, use the Evolution Troll's Toolkit.
Did you note the absence of a period?
Please show me where it is required that all posts consist of complete sentences.
If you could be so kind as to point me to a post with worse grammar than Vaquero's, I will be more than happy to suggest the use of a spell checker and grammar checker to that poster as well.
I was merely commenting on Vaquero's poor use of grammar when you posted your poorly drafted reply. When discussing grammar, it is always important to follow the rules of grammar.
As far as I know, Utah is not mandating that Creationism be taught in schools. So -- my point -- I would not want someone to oppose the Utah legisaltion because they oppose Creationism. There is a leap in there that is unwarranted.
I consider Evolution to be controversial. I think that is a public school is going to teach it, it is reasonable for the school to say "This is controversial and has been for decades. The majority of scientists are completely on board with this theory and have quite a lot of evidence which supports it. But even so, some people are not convinced. But, we did want you kids to know about Evolution, because modern science places a lot of emphasis on it. But keep in mind, this is not a proven fact."
That's really funny!
