The President and the first lady spent the weekend in Washington attending St John's Church on Sunday.
Later in the day there was a State Dinner for the nation's governors at the White House
Today the President addressed the National Governors Association annual meeting in the State Dining Room of the White House.
He then met Belarusian human rights activist Irina Krasovskaya and Svyatlana Zavadskaya in the Oval Office.
The First Lady and the President attended a reception for the nation's governors at the National Building Museum in Washington.
The Vice President is visiting Norfolk to speak at a fundraiser for Republican Congresswoman Thelma Drake. Link to see video of his arrival Arrival in Norfolk.

I thought about you this weekend! I just finished the book "The Real Jimmy Carter." And the chapter on the race between Reagan and Carter was so good. I wish there was a tape of the debate I could watch. I've only seen the clips but never the whole thing. The funniest thing to me was that the RNC came out with bumperstickers that said "Ask Amy, she knows." :)

I remember watching the Reagan-Carter debate on the air, when Reagan first said "are you better off now than you were 4 years ago?" I knew from that moment that Carter didn't have a prayer.
