I think 26 year-old males who "live with their parents" are a dead giveaway.
They should be avoided.
(I was at happy hour a couple of weeks ago minding my own business when this guy pulls up a bar stool next to me and starts yammering. I said to myself: "ex-con who lives at home".) Sure enough, he got around to "explaining" that he just got out of prison and was living with his mother. I moved away as quickly as I could...)
Well, then again there's George Costanza...
26 and living with parents...hmmm.
some basic rules I have discovered...
1. Real Men don't mooch off of family. People will respect you more if you live in a junky apartment that you pay for yourself, than if you live in daddies mansion. There is nothing more pathetic than a 30 year old man who still has his mother do his laundry. If you encounter a man in this condition, avoid him. He has issues.
2. Real Men avoid having male roommates after college. While in school it is understandable. If you move to a new area and are getting established, it is understandable. However, If you are a 30 yr. old single male with a male roommate, everyone will rightly suspect that you are gay.
3. Real Men don't "shack up" with a gal. They marry them or date them. The in-between stage is far too confusing, and gets too complicated for a Real Man to deal with...hehe
I'm older than that, live in my own home and have never been to jail. Tell me where that bar is and you can kidnap and drug me for sex, if you want. Hell, you don't even have to drug me.
