SEX PREDATOR
EXCLUSIVE Store worker kidnapped and sexually attacked men he picked up and drugged
By Charles Lavery
THIS former DIY store worker can today be exposed as a gay sex attacker who kidnaps, drugs, abuses and robs his victims at knifepoint.
Cyrus Winton, 26, kept "trophies" from his victims in the £300,000 house he shares with his parents.
Cunning Winton abducted straight men and performed sex acts on them.
He attacked his victims ., in remote spots less than two {| miles from his home.
Police believe he drugged them to blot out their memories of his sordid acts.
But one remembered enough to take police to the scene of his attack.
It led to police raiding Winton's home where they found wallets, clothes and bank cards belonging to the men.
He was found guilty at the High Court in Glasgow of three attacks and three thefts. He will be sentenced next month.
Police think there may be more victims who are too embarrassed to come forward.
Winton, of Atholl Avenue, Torrance, Glasgow, was being groomed as a manager at a B&Q superstore, in Bishopbriggs, when he started stalking and attacking men at night.
Colleagues were stunned when he failed to turn up for work and bosses said he had been arrested.
In November 2004, he conned his first victim into his silver Vauxhall Corsa in the city centre. The young man had been so drunk he was later unable to tell officers where Winton picked him up.
Winton drove him to Balmore, Stirlingshire, where he dragged him out of the car and performed sex acts on him. He dumped him after stealing his wallet and cards.
Less than three weeks later, he abducted his second man, drove him to the same area, where he sexually assaulted him, stole his jacket, mobile and wallet.
Eight days later, Winton was back in the city centre, this time posing as a taxi driver to lure another straight man.
He picked up his third victim in George Square and drove him to a layby, again in Balmore. This time he used a knife in a similar attack.
But this victim remembered enough details and informed the police. His description of the car led them to Winton.
Police identified other victims from stolen items. The men had been too embarrassed to complain.
One police source said: "If we hadn't found that stolen stuff, we would have been in the dark about the others. "There are fears that he has carried out other sex attacks." A former colleague at the B&Q store in Bishopbriggs said: "He was openly gay and didn't care who knew it.
"He was a polite, happy and funny guy. We are all totally stunned and shocked."
At home last night, Winton refused to comment.

'There are fears that Winton has carried out other sex attacks'
After this guy, I think they're going to have to rewrite that joke.
don't ask...don't tell
"whats this grease on my sore butt, and why are my pants down?"
Um Emmett, this is an article about a guy drugging other guys for sex. I'm assuming (and hoping) you missed that part.
You are aware that Philistone is a guy right?
Note to self...Always read the Article before posting....
Why are the coworkers stunned and shocked?
Oh, I guess if someone is polite and happy they can't
do any wrong...this episode of part of the coworkers
growing up scenario.
No, actually, I thought it was a female relating how some guy was hitting on her at a bar. NEVER MIND NEVER MIND NEVER MIND!
