Exactly. They all want to come here. Poof, they're already "here". Then we can tax them and take advantage of all the plentiful resources.

I've often thought that's what we should do... but then we would have to give all the conquered mexicans welfare.

Considering the Superfund cleanup that would have to be done on the entire country of Mexico to make it inhabitable under current EPA regs, a 700 mile wall will be much cheaper. Let them keep their crapheap country and clean it up (environmentally and politically) themselves.

Why invade? Offer jobs, welfare and Medicare and a majority would be willing to be annexed. But why stop at the Guatemalan border? Let's get that canal we built back.
