A three-judge panel of the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco eventually threw out the entire award to Smith, ruling that the estate battle was best settled in Texas.

my hub mentioned this case being up there to me, i rolled my eyes that he even KNEW that fact! did you see the special they did on her a few years back? i can't recall what cable channel did it. Wooooeeeee white trash. cousins all laid up in the bed on disability with bottles of pills behind her in the trailer etc. I LMAO.
