They started calling him Leaky and he was removed from the intelligence Committee. Big deal. He is still a Senator isnt he? Still attacking the President isnt he? And which one was his replacement on the intelligence Committee? Rockefeller or Durbin.

People are negative in here because it is negative. Leahy should have been removed from the Senate or jailed. Same goes for Rockefeller if he is guilty, Any chance of that happening?? Hell no.

Rockefeller already admitted he wnet to saudi Arabia and Jordanand Syrian and told them Bush had his mind made up to attack Iraq. Thats traitorous, What happened to him? Zilch. Is he still welcome at the White House?? More than likely.

President Bush has turned the other cheek so many times he looks like a Bobble head toy.

Before you comment please go read the rules and laws that govern Senators and members of Congress while in session.

I despise both Rockefeller & Durbin. (Probably Rockefeller more incensed by Rockefeller since I am an ex-WVirginian!) Getting them off the Intel committee as the 'leaker' would be a mjor political victory. Even by all rights the 'leaker' should suffer more then the loss of a committee seat. I don't think there is the 'political will' in the Bush administration or the GOP Senate to do any more then kick the leaker out of the Intel committee and maybe do a little 'finger wagging'. I don't blame the Bush White House or the GOP Senate leaders for their lack of will, face it who sits on the Intel committee and what they leak or don't leak is not dinner time conversation to the average American. Maybe it should be BUT it isn't, most Americans view such behavior as 'standard-operating-procedure' in DC. Most Americans don't think we are actually at war !(I have had similar discussions here with freepers who tend to view the WOT as some sort of sham! Thats another discussion !) and don't realize or care to make the effort to realize that issue like 'leaks' from the Intel. committees for political purposes is very very serious ! Also it demonstrates why many people were critical of the notion of even having these committees. (Congress is a political creature how could it not play politics with 'Intel information'!) I think intelligence is an executive function and other then funding it Congress should stay out of its day-to-day functioning. In fact the 9/11 & WMD reports show the Intel failures are as much a function of congressional meddling as executive or bureaucratic incompetence. (The 9/11 report is particularly egregious ! Also look who was on the 'bipartisan committee' there were several members who were there for CYA purposes only ! They should have been in front of the committee not members of it !)
Again term limits we need term limits !

Most of those negative spend most of their time attacking the GOP rather than the real enemy. And much of their negativism is just lack of comprehension and too much belief in the Treason Media.
