"I was not familiar with him thanks for the article."
He had served for many years as Professor of Hydraulic Engineering at the Virgina Polytechnicc Institute in Virgina. He then maintain staff positions elsewhere at universities as well as authored books of reasons for a created world/universe/living things verse evolutionary concepts. He helped form more then one group to gather like minded scientist/engineers/ to research and publish things they felt back up a reason to believe in a creation, and basically young earth model. In all he based on my personal readings tried to be fair. I do not think I ever read a verse where he was mean spirited or bashed the other side. In short a gentlemen with strong convictions he felt should be shared based on solid science and engeineering principles.

and passed into the presence of his Creator and Savior, Jesus Christ I always wonder about that wording. What about the rest of the Trinity?

I was not aware of Dr. Morris but do offer prayers.
In trying to answer my own question, I found that Wikipedia has an interesting section for anyone who might be interested.

I suppose some of us have the presence of the Pneuma right here.
And I foggily recall a scripture stating that noone has seen the Father.

Is that what passes for intelligent debate in liberal schools these days?

He was a wonderful, humble man who will be greatly missed.
Prayers for the family.

You referenced another statement -- "and passed into the presence of his Creator and Savior, Jesus Christ"
And then said -- "I always wonder about that wording. What about the rest of the Trinity?"
Well, it's true, there are three in the Trinity -- but only one is fully Man *and* fully God. Thus Jesus Christ is like us, in that He is fully Man.
God the Father has only been seen by the Son and the Son has shown the Father to us. No man has seen the Father, unless they have seen the Son.
Likewise, the Holy Spirit has been compared to the wind, not knowing where it comes from and where it goes.
Thus, it makes the most sense in that he will be in the "presence" of the Son, Jesus Christ -- as Christ says He will be with us "always".

Then who did Abraham see when he received the three visitors, who I believe were revealed to be God and two angels, before the destruction of Sodom? And could you provide a verse for the fully God, fully Man statement? I have long heard that.

The Wikipedia link led me to some interesting reading.
Amazing how many variations of the Trinity theme occur among Catholicism, Protestantism, Orthodox, Mormon, etc.

I feel much the same, the best argument against Evolution is those who propose/suppose intelligent design.

If you read Genesis again, you will see the phrase several times in the Abraham story:
and God appeared before him. Some literalists will have to find away to reconcile this with th fact that
no man can see God and live. this being a reference to the holiness of God.
One way to explain it is that the phrase is used to signify Abraham's deepening spiritual awareness, which grows each time the phrase is used. The torah commentary says that the three visitors were angels, and I believe the KJV also says this.

I wish he could have lived long enough to see the day when the SCOTUS rules that Darwinism must be tossed out of the schools. We're just one vote away from it happening ... and he gets much of the credit! Every conservative should say a prayer of thanks tonight for the legacy he left.

We're just one vote away from it happening ...I wouldn't go so far as to say that. No one has ruled that Creationism or even intelligent design is fit for teaching yet.
