Do any Freepers have advice regarding a good mountain bike? I'm thinking of getting one, but haven't actually been on a bicycle in years.

You'll fall and break your butt. So, my advice is to forget it.

So why do you want a 'mountain bike'? Do you think a generalized bike might suffice? But what do I know, I've only ridden about 50,000+ miles?

1. Price range
2. What type suspension? (Front, rear, both)
3. Where / how far do you want to ride? (Off of cliffs, dirt paths, on the road?)
Let me know & I'll try & rustle up some suggestions for you.
Cheers!
