Attention all Conservatives in New Jersey!!! The NJ Conservative Party is looking for people of good moral character who would be willing to put their names on the ballot for public office in NJ. All the congressional seats are open this election cycle,as well as county & local offices. Petition Circulators are also needed to help the candidates collect signatures to get on the ballot(100 is the requirement for congressional seats & county offices;less for local offices)Anyone interested please contact us at info@njcp.org or njcpsst@earthlink.net Thank you!

Good luck.
Although I think y'all shouldn't run anyone against Scott Garrett, he's one of the good guys.

Maybe what New Jersey needs is for the NJCP to infuse some backbone into the NJ Republican party instead of throwing votes away to a hopeless third party.
I can dream, can't I?

they've probably done that already and have given up. How many times can conservatives be lied to, let down, called names, laughed at and disappointed before they give up and form their own party.

Hi All-
My feeling is that putting enormous amounts of effort behind a fledgling New Jersey Conservative Party is just splitting our efforts. Look how pathetic the support was for Steve Lonergan in the recent primary. Same thing for a very conservative individual like Murray Sabrin a half-dozen years ago when he ran for Senate or something like that.
We blew it last year by not ensuring Bret Schundler ran against that thief Jon Corzine, who is pulling money from our pockets as we speak. At this point a separate NJCP would likely serve to further dilute the conservative vote. I have to side with Cagey on this one in terms of bolstering the existing Republican party first.

oh, don't worry, I'm not fleeing yet and am still a Republican county committeeman for may district. What I can tell you though is that never has a conservative principle been mentioned at the meetings where we vote for who will be on the slate, that's when there is a vote, sadly to say some county chairmen and their little cliques often times choose the candidates, leaving the ward leaders out of the picture.
