No 25% is not high for AU, if you look at who the Brits sent to Australia in the first place they all probably carried the gene/genes.
Good thought but a bit off. Some of the nicest, friendliest, liveliest people I've met were Aussies. "G'day and the "shrimp on the barbie" thing. Of course I've met most of them in bars so I don't know which way that cuts ... ;-)

Hey, I like the Aussies just fine, but our prisons are full of folks that use to hang out at the pub to long...if you get my drift.

"G'day and the "shrimp on the barbie" thing. Aussies never put shrimps on the barbie - they put prawns there. They also liked to "warm the tele and cool the tinnies" (ie, put the TV on, and have a cold beer handy)
Anyway, you're a real Auz, if you can eat Vegemite. Lived there for 14 years. Still can't stand the stuff. Mr Peel, who has never been, can't get enough of it.
