I highly doubt that. The ridicule is going to get to him and he will never be a contender again. He may finally learn humility but I doubt that also. I see him going into seclusion for a while and maybe becoming an instructer somewhere, perhaps at a recovery center?

Last night one of the Bode commercials came on imploring parents and kids not to look at just winning as the reson to go into sports. I know these cemmercials were done way in advance of the Olympics but timing couldn't have been better for him. lolol

About Bodie.

Since I don't trust the media, I'm suspicious of all this so called "trouble" Bodie Miller has been into.
It would be like Costa and the rest to embellish Bodie's propensity for rowdiness to perpetuate Miller's
media induced "Jessie James" image.

I don't trust the media either, especially when they pump someone up so much like they did with Bode. The bottom line is: He was a major disappointment for the US team. It's safe to say he underachieved, lol

You had to see Picabo give the comments. Until she verged into Mancuso territory she was quite good with her type of "straight talk"(for lack of a better expression). The theme of the whole segment was "what went wrong with the US ski team".

When Mancuso's name was brought up in the segment, Street just sounded very jealous and very caddy. The tiara comment was unnecessary and very unprofessional.

This unnatural hero making on the part of the media is insulting to the viewers. It's time to take the
soothsaying out of sports commentary.The MSM act like children who want to always say, "I knew that",
"I told you so". I... I... I... Aye Yi Yi. Can't we just watch and ALL learn the outcome together?

I think the media was just looking for "fighting words" so they could keep things juicy.

I don't feel sorry for him at all. Have you heard some of his interviews? He is so full of himself, it's pathetic. He is a very talented skiier, but his arrogance overshadows his talent. Maybe this will bring him down a notch or two. He deserves it.
