Thanks for the ping. I can't wait to see the closing ceremonies.
So glad to be American but so happy the games went well for the Italians. They seem to have been good hosts.
To: Howlin
Thank you Howlin...your ping has brought be in off the ledge for awhile!! LOL

I'm going to put up a brand new thread for the closing ceremony.
I know it's going to conflict with Dancing with the Stars!

LOL...haven't watching Dancing with the Stars.
Just hoping that wretched Brian Williams does not spoil the closing as he tried his best to do with the opening.
Hope NBC doesn't sic Dick Buttons on us either!!!!!
To: OldFriend

thanks for keeping this thread going each day, makes it nice to have "someone" to watch the games with!
To: Howlin
I haven't gotten to watch as much as I wanted to watch...BUT I scored a really cool USA Roots brand Olympic shirt.
SO I got something from the deal.
My favorite moment so far was the Italian single female figure skater- I think last night..
I am sure she didn't place- but she was so geeked to be skating.
I was moved by her excitement. I cant remember her name.
Uh Oh.. gotta go change a diaper- I will BBR and see if I can find her name.

Yes, it does, doesn't it?
Just think how crazy our families and friends would think we were if we mumbled all this stuff just to ourselves........LOL.

I saw that; but it IS humanitarian and they aren't going to get their hands on it; I think he means not to give the government one dime.

I hope so....but I not really optomistic...
However, this is the Olympic thread....so I will leave it there..
But, thank you for your calm response...because I did overreact tonight..
To: Howlin; Txsleuth
Hi everyone... My mother said she heard some country wouldn't compete tomorrow (Sunday) because it is the Sabbath. Did anyone hear which country that was?
Oh, here comes Bode... *yawn*
